October 10, 2024 (New York City) – The co-founders of award-winning DominiRican Productions, Pierre Jean Gonzalez and Cedric Leiba Jr, continue to expand their involvement as Broadway producers and announce that, in association with Score 3 Partners, they are co-Producers of the revival of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town.
Appearing under the credit of Score 3 Partners as co-Producer, Pierre Jean Gonzalez and Cedric Leiba Jr mark their most recent involvement in a commercial Broadway production having been involved as co-producers for the 13x nominated and 2024 Tony Award winning Hell’s Kitchen and the Broadway revival of The Wiz. Their first involvement with a Broadway production was as investors in the 2023 Tony Award winning revival of Topdog/Underdog.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning Our Town began previews for a limited engagement on September 17 with an opening date of October 10 at the Barrymore Theatre. The cast includes Jim Parsons, Katie Holmes, Zoey Deutch, Ephraim Sykes, Billy Eugene Jones, Richard Thomas, Michelle Wilson, Julie Halston and Donald Webber, Jr. The play is directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon.
In moving into the producer and investor roles, Gonzalez and Leiba Jr continue to open a door for Latine representation and involvement in Broadway commercial productions in more diverse and influential ways.
Moving into the Broadway producer and investor roles is an achievement in keeping with Gonzalez and Leiba Jr’s mission of representing diversity and creating more opportunities for Afro-Latine, Queer and under-represented communities in the performing arts to help tell the stories of those communities.
